About Electrolux washer error codes
Electrolux is a Swedish appliance maker sold across Europe and North America. Electrolux codes are typically shown on the display as a letter followed by numbers, and the same fault family can use slightly different codes on European and North American models.
How to read Electrolux washer codes
Electrolux groups its washer faults into families by the first digit: E10s are water supply, E20s draining, E30s the pressure sensor, E40s the door lock, E50s the motor, E60s heating, EF0 leaks, foam or balance, and EH0 the power supply. The exact number in a family (E10, E11, E13 and so on) depends on the model. Machines without a display may beep or flash a light a set number of times instead.
Before you reset anything, write down the exact code, because it can disappear once the power comes back. The reset itself is the same for every code: unplug the washer or switch off its breaker for 5 minutes, then restore power and run a short cycle.
Electrolux says different models use different variations of these codes, so check your user manual for what yours means.
Of the 8 codes on this page, 1 usually have a simple fix you can do yourself, and 4 usually need a technician. Each guide says which is which, so you don't pay for a service call you don't need, and you don't attempt a repair that isn't safe.
Before you start
- Write down your model number. It's on a sticker, usually inside the door or lid, on the frame, or on the back or side panel. Parts and some code meanings depend on it.
- Try a reset. Unplug the washer or switch off its breaker for 10 minutes. This clears many one-off glitches without tools.
- Keep a towel and a shallow pan nearby. Many fixes involve water left in the drum or drain pump.
