Electrolux Washer E21 Error Code
Washer is not draining properly on Electrolux washers.
ElectroluxAll Electrolux washer codes
Water isn't being pumped out fast enough. A kinked or clogged drain hose, a blocked drain pump filter or a faulty drain pump is the common cause. Wiring or the control board is less likely.

How to fix Electrolux E21
Check the drain hose
Look for kinks or clogs along the drain hose and straighten or clear them. The standpipe or sink shouldn't be backed up.
Open the pump filter
Unplug the washer. If your model has a pump filter behind a small door at the bottom front (your manual shows where), let hot water cool, lay down towels and a shallow tray, and open it slowly to drain. Remove lint and objects, then screw the filter back in firmly.
Check the installation
The washer should be level, and the drain hose should meet the height and length limits in your installation guide.
Note the code and reset
Write the code down, then give the washer 5 minutes without power and run a short cycle.
When to call a technician
Hose and filter clear and it still won't drain, or the pump hums without moving water: the drain pump, its wiring or the control needs a technician.
