Haier Washer E1 Error Code
Washer isn't draining on Haier washers.
Water isn't pumping out. On Haier portables a clogged drain pump filter, a kinked hose, or a hose pushed so far down the standpipe that it siphons are behind most of these.

How to fix Haier E1
Unplug the washer
Pull the plug and set out towels and a shallow pan. There may still be water in the tub.
Clean the pump filter
Not every model has a filter. If yours does, it's behind the small door at the bottom of the cabinet. Let the water out, clear lint and debris, and refit it snugly.
Fix the drain hose
Straighten kinks or pinches. If the hose goes into a standpipe, pull it up so only the end sits inside; pushed in too far it can siphon water back.
Run a drain
Plug the washer back in and run a spin or drain to check that water goes out.
When to call a technician
Clean filter, clear hose, and E1 or E6 keeps showing: call Haier service to have the drain pump checked.
