LG Air Conditioner CH07 Error Code
Indoor units set to conflicting modes. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
On a multi-zone system, one indoor unit is asking for heat while another is set to cool or dry. All units share one outdoor unit, which can't heat and cool at the same time, so it raises this code.
Seen on multi-zone systems that pair several indoor units (wall, floor-standing or ceiling types) with one outdoor unit.
How to fix LG CH07
Match the modes
Check the mode on every indoor unit in the house. Set them all to heat, or set them all to cool or dry; cool and dry can run together, but neither can run while another unit heats.
Use fan or air purify if needed
If one room only needs air moving, use Fan or Air Purification mode there. LG says these modes can run alongside any other mode.
When to call a technician
This is a settings conflict, not a fault. If the code stays after every unit is on a compatible mode, reset the power and contact LG support.

Frequently asked questions
What does CH07 mean on a LG air conditioner?
On a multi-zone system, one indoor unit is asking for heat while another is set to cool or dry. All units share one outdoor unit, which can't heat and cool at the same time, so it raises this code.
Can I fix LG CH07 myself?
Usually, yes. Most CH07 problems clear with simple checks you can do at home. Start with the first step above: match the modes.
What if CH07 keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when CH07 appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
