How to fix Frigidaire i20
Clean the glass trap and filter
Turn off the breaker, take out the bottom rack and lift out the filter assembly. Clear food and glass from the trap and rinse the filter under the tap before you lock it back in.
Check the drain hose height and kinks
The hose needs to loop up at least 32 in (81 cm) above the floor before it drops to the sink drain or disposer. Straighten any kink or crushed section along the way.
Check the disposer knockout plug
If the dishwasher drains into a newly installed disposer, make sure the plastic knockout plug in its dishwasher inlet was punched out. Unplug the disposer or switch off its breaker before you reach in there.
Clear the code
Press and hold Cancel, or cut power for about 3 minutes. Then run a cycle and check the tub is empty at the end.
When to call a technician
If the drain path is clear and i20 keeps returning, the drain pump or its wiring needs a technician.
