Samsung Dryer bE Error Code
Stuck button on the control panel. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
The dryer thinks one of its buttons is being held down all the time. A button may be physically stuck, or something may be resting on the panel.
Samsung groups bE, bE2, bC2, 6E, 6E2 and 6C2 as jammed-button errors.
How to fix Samsung bE
Free the buttons
Turn the dryer off. Go across the panel pressing each button once and letting it spring back, pressing near the edges too, to free any that are stuck. Remove anything leaning on the panel.
Power back on
Turn the dryer on again and see if the code clears.
When to call a technician
If a button is visibly damaged or the code returns as soon as the dryer powers on, the control panel needs service.

Frequently asked questions
What does bE mean on a Samsung dryer?
The dryer thinks one of its buttons is being held down all the time. A button may be physically stuck, or something may be resting on the panel.
Can I fix Samsung bE myself?
Usually, yes. Most bE problems clear with simple checks you can do at home. Start with the first step above: free the buttons.
What if bE keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when bE appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
