How to fix Frigidaire E52
Reduce the load
Unplug the washer, take out some items and make sure nothing is wedged between the drum and the door seal.
Turn the drum by hand
With the washer still unplugged, turn the drum slowly by hand. Grinding, catching or a drum that won't turn points to a mechanical problem for a technician.
Reset the control
Five minutes without power, then a short test cycle.
When to call a technician
If E52 comes back, a technician has to test the motor, its speed sensor, the drive belt and bearings, and the motor control board.
