Electrolux Dryer E21 / E22 Error Code
Condensate drain pump fault on Electrolux dryers.
ElectroluxAll Electrolux dryer codes
A condensing dryer pulls water out of the air and pumps it to a container or a drain hose. These codes mean the pump circuit has failed or the water can't get away. Sears PartsDirect starts with the harness between the pump and main board, then looks for a clogged pump or drain hose, then replaces the pump, and only after that the board.

How to fix Electrolux E21 / E22
Empty the water container
Pull out the condensed-water container (often a drawer at the top or bottom of the front panel) and empty it. Slide it all the way back in.
Check the drain hose
If your dryer drains to a sink or standpipe, unplug it and follow the hose. Straighten kinks and make sure the end isn't pushed too far down or blocked.
Clean the filters
Lint that gets past the filters ends up in the water path. Clean the lint filter and any second filter or condenser your manual tells you to rinse.
When to call a technician
If the water path is clear and the code returns, a technician should check the pump wiring and replace the pump if needed. Don't run the dryer while water is collecting where it shouldn't.
