Electrolux Dryer EH1 / EH2 / EH3 / E5C Error Code
Power supply out of range on Electrolux dryers.
ElectroluxAll Electrolux dryer codes
The dryer doesn't like the power it's getting. Sears PartsDirect lists EH1 as a supply frequency out of range, EH2 as voltage too high and EH3 as voltage too low, and E5C as supply voltage too high at the motor inverter. The usual culprits are the house wiring, the outlet or an extension cord, not the dryer.
Compatible models
Sears PartsDirect gives these for the Electrolux compact condensing dryer only.
Also shown as
Sears PartsDirect lists EH1 to EH3 both as a general supply voltage problem and, written ExH1 to ExH3, with the separate meanings above. Its voltage limits differ between entries, so leave measuring to an electrician.

How to fix Electrolux EH1 / EH2 / EH3 / E5C
Remove extension cords
Plug the dryer directly into a properly rated outlet. Extension cords and power strips can drop the voltage and are a fire risk with a dryer.
Check the breaker
Turn the dryer's breaker off and on again. If lights dim or flicker when the dryer starts, note that for the electrician.
Reset and retry
Unplug the dryer for 5 minutes, plug it back in and start a short program.
When to call a technician
Have an electrician measure the outlet voltage. If the supply is normal and the code stays, a technician should check the main board or inverter board; voltage that's off on the street side is a job for your utility.
