LG Washer PF Error Code
Power was interrupted. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
PF means the power went out or flickered during a cycle. It isn't a fault in the washer itself.
Shown on front-load, top-load and wash tower models.
How to fix LG PF
Restart the cycle
Press Start/Pause to resume, or pick the cycle again and start it.
Check the power supply
If the code keeps returning, make sure the plug is fully seated in the outlet and that the breaker hasn't tripped. Avoid using extension cords.
When to call a technician
If PF keeps returning without a real outage, turn off the faucets, unplug the washer and contact LG service. If other things on the same circuit also lose power, have an electrician check the outlet and circuit.

Frequently asked questions
What does PF mean on a LG washer?
PF means the power went out or flickered during a cycle. It isn't a fault in the washer itself.
Can I fix LG PF myself?
Usually, yes. Most PF problems clear with simple checks you can do at home. Start with the first step above: restart the cycle.
What if PF keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when PF appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
