Bosch Dishwasher E07 / E10 Error Code

CrystalDry (zeolite) drying fault. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.

E07 / E10
May need a pro

These codes apply to models with Bosch's CrystalDry system, which uses zeolite minerals to dry dishes. E07 means the drying fan motor has failed, and E10 means the zeolite chamber heater has a fault.

Newer US models show E2130 (fan, same as E07) and E2120 (heater, same as E10). Only models with CrystalDry or zeolite drying use these codes.

Safety first: unplug the dishwasher (or switch off its breaker) before touching filters, hoses or panels. If you smell burning or gas, or see water near the outlet, stop and call a professional.

How to fix Bosch E07 / E10

  1. Reset the dishwasher at the breaker

Switch off the dishwasher's circuit breaker, wait about 30 seconds, then switch it back on. Run a short cycle with the dishwasher empty and watch whether the same code comes back. A code that clears and stays away was likely a one-time glitch.

  2. Write down the code and model number

Note the exact code and find the model (E-Nr) and production (FD) numbers on the rating label, usually on the edge of the door. Bosch support or a technician will ask for both, because those numbers show which version of the code your machine uses.

When to call a technician

If either code returns, call Bosch support or a technician. Expect poor drying until the faulty fan or heater is replaced.
