Bosch Dishwasher E14 Error Code
Flow meter or filling problem. Here is what it means and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
The dishwasher's flow meter isn't reporting the expected amount of water during filling, or filling has failed. It can come from a supply problem, but Bosch treats it as a service code.
Newer US models show E3000 for the same fault. European guides group E14 with the water supply codes E16, E17, and E18.
How to fix Bosch E14
Rule out the water supply
Make sure the supply valve is fully open and the inlet hose isn't kinked. These are quick checks that can save a service call.
Reset the dishwasher at the breaker
Switch off the dishwasher's circuit breaker, wait about 30 seconds, then switch it back on. Run a short cycle with the dishwasher empty and watch whether the same code comes back. A code that clears and stays away was likely a one-time glitch.
When to call a technician
If the supply is fine and E14 comes back, contact Bosch support or a technician to test the flow meter and filling system.

Frequently asked questions
What does E14 mean on a Bosch dishwasher?
The dishwasher's flow meter isn't reporting the expected amount of water during filling, or filling has failed. It can come from a supply problem, but Bosch treats it as a service code.
Can I fix Bosch E14 myself?
Only the basic checks. You can safely try the steps above, but E14 usually points to a part or fault that needs a technician.
What if E14 keeps coming back?
A code that returns after a reset and the checks above usually means a part is wearing out. Note when E14 appears (which cycle, how often) and have your model number ready; it helps a technician bring the right part on the first visit.
