LG Dryer E13 Error Code
Drain problem (heat pump and hybrid dryers). What it means, which models show it, and how to clear it, easiest fix first.
Ventless heat pump and hybrid dryers collect water from the clothes and pump it away. E13 means that water is not draining, usually because the drain hose is kinked, crushed or clogged, or because water in the sump has frozen in a cold room.
Compatible models
LG doesn't publish a model list for this code; it appears on LG dryers with a digital display. Check your owner's manual.
Also shown as

Difficulty
Start with the safe checks below; a worn part may need replacing.
How to fix LG E13
Check the drain hose
Unplug the dryer. Follow the drain hose to its end, straighten any kinks or twists and clear any clog at the tip. LG says the top of the hose should be no more than about 3.3 ft (1 m) above the floor, and to use only the standard LG hose, not an extension.
Warm the room
If the dryer is in a cold space, let the room warm up to normal temperature so any ice can thaw.
Restart
Plug the dryer back in and press Start/Pause.
When to call a technician
If E13 returns with a clear, correctly routed hose, the drain pump or its parts need a technician.
